• Who You Are

Ok…I had this dream sometime in Feb/March I think. One really freaky ass dream this which I remember in bits and pieces now.

The dream started out with me waking up in a train. Its one of those trains in India, non-AC, but the weather seems to be cloudy and nice so everything is rather pleasant. Next to me, a young girl (maybe 9-10 years old) is sitting and she’s fidgeting with her iPod. She turns to me and asks me if I can fix it. So, I take a look at the iPod, fumble around with it for a while and fix it eventually.

At this point the dream starts getting weird, because both of us get down at Indore station and all the streets are flooded with water. So this iPod girl and I climb on top of a floating red door and start surfing through the water filled streets. Everything is fine, we talk as we surf through the water and eventually mud. I forgot what we were talking about. But then finally we reach my building.

Now my building looks a bit different, because the pebbles at the entrance of my building have been replaced by multi-coloured grass that’s bursting out into beautiful patterns. Anyway, we both enter. I meet my aunt’s kid (not real aunt) who I know in real life. I tell him to take the small girl with him upstairs.

The boy gives me a puzzled look. “What girl?”,he says.

I look at the girl again. She’s still there. I look at the boy. He’s there too.

But he can’t see her.

Sudden dream realization.

The girl is a ghost.

I look at the girl now.

Her face has transformed into a disfigured scary ass horror movie face, with shriveled skin and hollowed out eyes.

She jumps on me and grabs me by the face. She howls,”I am going to feed again”.

I try and fight her off…and ask her,” what had you been feeding on all this time”.

She replies,”Your memories”.

And that’s when sudden dream realization #2 kicks in…while I was asleep on the train, she had stolen my memories. Fed on them like a parasite.

And then…I wake up for real.
